Description
LED / HID Anti-Flicker Module
These Modules are required if you have a flicker or flashing, strobing issue with your HID or LED kit. Common problem on some vehicles such as Dodge Ram and many other vehicles using PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) voltage systems.
Some of the issues this Module can resolve:
- PWM Headlights
- Flicker or flashing / strobing issue
- Only one light turns on
- Both lights wont turn on
- Lights turn off after you start vehicle
- Fault light or Error code
The vehicles ‘Brain’ also known as an OBC (On Board Computer), a TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) or other Micro controllers may not be compatible with after market headlights and cause one or more of the symptoms listed above. In the case of PWM, the controller sends a rapid on/off voltage pulse to the headlights to conserve energy. When using stock halogen bulbs, the cycle is not detectable by the human eye. However with LED and HID bulbs there is no filament so you may notice a fast flickering of the lights and in some cases the light will turn off shortly after they have been activated. The Anti-Flicker Module contains a large capacitor to stabilize the voltage output to the bulb and a resistor eliminate bulb flicker and/or error codes
Each module comes with high quality plug-and-play connectors to make installation a snap with our LED kits. Also compatible with most HID kits.
